Sunny Croft, Broadmayne

We enjoyed our stay at sunny croft however the hot tub was not fully working which was very disappointing as this is one of the reasons I booked the accommodation. The property needs the garden areas especially the front to be tidied up and windows and ceils cleaned. The equipment, beds and everything else was so good, had such a good nights sleep whilst being there. Would definitely book again but hot tub needs to have been repaired.

This was the most comfortable holiday cottage we have stayed in. Wonderful sofa and beds. Not so much the garden chairs even with cushions but we had our own in the car plus fans which were not provided. It was the red warning extreme heat week so we stayed in a lot. Great that it was so comfortable! Loved the full height fridgefreezer. Plenty of room for food. We would like to come again when its cooler. Quiet location with bus stop nearby to get into Weymouth. Cake shed up the road!

Clean inside with a lovely welcome pack. Good selection and amount of dishes, etc but left no spare cupboards for putting food so had to leave on worktop so this minimised work space. Light in second bedroom was so low that occupant kept hitting their head. Outside of property could do with a tidy up. Description of property for location stated behind high hedge but no such hedge was present. Couples slit up on certain days so one had the side door key and one had to use the rear door. The gate to the garden for the rear door sticks on the ground and had to be opened and closed with some effort. These comments are for the owner to note and did not detracted from our enjoyable stay.

On the whole, it is a lovely property. The double bed mattress was so soft, I had to sleep in one of the single beds. We struggled to find kitchen space to put away the food we had brought with us. It took up counter space in the end. Lack of TV instructions caused us frustration. We had to watch TV through iPlayer and itvx. Lastly, I don't think lavender hand soap works in the bathroom. It was a horrible smell. My husband didn't like smelling like an old lady. We bought some Carex.

Lovely cottage, great location, hot tub was great, comfy beds, lock on front door needs looking at, we had trouble getting in and out!

We loved staying at Sunny Croft, it was perfect for our needs, and so brilliantly located to explore this part of Dorset. It was really nice to have a fullsized fridge freezer, good parking, a comfy sofa, a decent shower, a fully enclosed garden and a hot tub!

We enjoyed our holiday and the bungalow was lovely apart from a few little niggles. One being the front door. Would suggest some coat Hooks where the boiler was for wet coats also a broom for a sweep up. Had everything else we needed

We had a lovely stay at sunny croft, the property was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 5 of us and 1 dog, we made full use of the garden and loved the hot tub, the living area was very comfy and we loved cooking in the kitchen although would have been nice to have had a fifth chair at the table but we made it work. We had a little issue with the front door lock but was told about that before we arrived however we feel that this may cause some problems for people that may have some issues with being able to grip properly also the lock in the bathroom we found to be quite difficult to unlock. Some of the sockets on the walls were quite loose and could do with a little attention. Just a little constructive feedback.... a broom to be able to sweep inside the property would be really handy, as you can imagine having 5 of us with a dog aswell it was quite difficult going around the place with a dustpan and brush. It would also be really lovely to have a few solar lights around the garden for the evening as it gets very dark and we found that we had to use a torch and some candles to be able to sit out in the evening. However we did have a lovely stay and would love to revisit. Thank you for our welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. This holiday home was absolutely stunning. It was so peaceful with beautiful views from the garden and a really pretty sight of thatched cottages at the front. The owner left a lovely welcome basket and milk, tea and coffee for our arrival. The big Christmas Tree covered in twinkly lights was such a delightful surprise. We really do look forward to returning and suggest that if anyone is considering this property .... book it now. Its fab!

Really enjoyed our stay, lovely property. Excellent location. Would stay again. Just a couple of niggles, a couple of bedside lamps in the main bedroom would be useful and we found the front door very difficult to open from the outside most of the time. Waste collection times would be useful.

Sunny Croft is a lovely bungalow which has recently been refurbished to a good standard. Plenty of space for a family of four with dog and in a great location for visiting all the local attractions. Broadmayne is a lovely town, nice local pub, rural setting and everyone is very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Sunnycroft is absolutely lovely, we loved everything about our stay! Apart from the miserable weather Great location It shows that the owner has put a lot of though & effort into the property. the recent refurbishment is stunning. garden is stunning. View from the garden is absolutely lovely. bedrooms big & airy.. we seriously loved this place & have already re booked to stay again. The owner is lovely & nothing is too much trouble. Lovely welcome box with Prosecco, cake coffee etc Lovely touch all I can say is Love it love it love it. Cant wait to go back 5 Stars

We were very disappointed with Sunny Croft. Although the surfaces had been cleaned and wiped down there were cobwebs in the corners of each room of which some had spiders in them. It seemed as though there used to be carpets in the bedroom which had been taken up and the floorboards just left as there was old paint on them. The sofa in the front room seemed to be missing the back cushions as they just had scatter cushions on them whereas the chair had a back cushion. We asked for a new filter for the hot tub and a floater for the chlorine tablets. The chlorine tablets were just placed in the top of the filter so dissolved too quickly to last the week and the filter that was in the hot tub was very dirty and way past it's life span. There was a filter in a container in water by the hot tub that was better than the one in the tub but we had to clean it out with the hose. We were advised that there wasn't any new filters or any floater for the chlorine tablets. The owner did get 2 people to come round and replenish the chlorine tablets but they didn't seem to know how to maintain a hot tub as they were going to shock the water which would've meant that we wouldn't have been able to use it for 24 hours. Luckily a member of our party has their own hot tub so were able to let them know not to do this. The garden needs some maintenance especially at the front of the house. The bathroom has recently been renovated which is really nice but I'm not sure why they didn't knock the toilet wall through to the bathroom as the toilet is situated on it's own. This is the same for the fridge as it's not situated in the kitchen, it's in the larder. This property could be so much more if a bit of tlc was spent on it. We will definitely not be revisiting.

Not enough clothing storage in twin bed bedroom, no sun loungers in the garden

Great holiday . .. our third visit to this property, so we obviously rate it very highly! In due course, the separate toilet with no handbasin should be incorporated into the large shower room.

Fantastic cottage, absolutely loved out stay.

The cottage was very clean and warm. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, pans etc. Our daughters loved the hot tub. There were good walks in the immediate neighbourhood for our dogs, and we could shut them in the dining room at night and when we went out so that we didn't have to worry about them getting on a sofa whilst we were out! Since we were in the cottage between Christmas and New Year we very much appreciated the Christmas tree in the sitting room and the chocolates! We would visit again.

Lovely stay and bungalow, nice touch with the welcome pack. Only one jet worked on the hot tub and no lights, also one burner on the cooker didnt work and couldnt use the toaster as tripped the electric, had a lot of cobwebs and had to clean the leaves out of the outside drain to allow the shower to drain. There was a hoover brochure in information pack but no hoover could be found. But overall it was really homely and had a lovely stay in a great position and beautiful location, would come again .

Sunny Croft is the perfect property to stay in if you are looking for a holiday down in Dorset. It's location is perfect for visiting all the beaches and sites in the area. The property itself is well kept, clean and has all the facilities you should need. The hot tub was also amazing to use in the evenings. I would definitely stay again.

This is the second time we have visited sunny Croft , everything was just as we expected. Clean and tidy, floors where still wet when we arrived . The jets in hot tub had stopped working, rung Racheal ,owner who got the engineer out to fix it, could not have been more helpful . Would advise to try the black dog pub about five mins walk from bungalow, meal and service outstanding .if you dont fancy cooking .

Sometimes things go wrong and its noone's fault. The real test is how the problem is dealt with. We had a fault with the hot tub and Rachel, the owner, pulled out all the stops to get an engineer on site and get it fixed quickly, as well as giving us a refund for when we couldn't use it. Outstanding service from the owner.

Very responsive to messages. Super helpful in taking deliveries in before we arrived. Extremely nice to have posted some things back that were left behind at no extra cost. Overall very enjoyable stay.

The bungalow was lovely, comfy bed, nicely decorated and enjoyed the hot tub. Lots to see and do for adults children and dogs. Would definitely book again, thank you for a wonderful holiday.

A beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting, very peaceful. The hot tub was lovely in the evenings. The cottage had everything we needed, very well equipped.

Hired bungalow due to closeness to Monkey world, Had everything we needed. Its like a home away from home, great surprise from the welcome pack. Would use again . If we was down that way again .

An absolute gem! We enjoyed are time soo much at this charming cottage, just outside Dorchester. Hot tub was warm and entertaining for both nights! Very clean, and the hamper left was both thoughtful and appreciated! We hope to come back to Sunny Croft

We had a fabulous week and thought the photos did not do the house justice. Hot tub was great and a thoughtful welcome basket was waiting on arrival.

Overall the bungalow was ok but it does need a good clean the standard of cleaning was poor and we spent our first hour wiping things down . The hot tub was nice but not working properly ie the jets were not working as they should also as far as we know it wasnt checked for chlorine levels during our stay . The shower was very temperamental running hot

The cottage is in a great location with loads of places to go all within a short distance. The hot tub is great for the kids. The local shop & pub are also very handy. Overall highly recommend.

Sunny Croft, sunny by name, sunny by nature! Enjoyed the wine and chocolates provided in the hot tub. Saw beautiful sun rises and views of deer over the back field.
