The Coach House Reviews

While the welcome pack was nice. The bed was very comfortable, but it went downhill from there, the island in the kitchen was the only place to eat and its not very hygienic to eat so close to the sink. The walk in wardrobe consists of one hanging rail. Outside you have a dismal patio with a hot tub, with a rustic fence with bark peeling off and a cane screen which everyone walking past can see through! Its like being in a goldfish bowl!! The very worst thing is the huge pine tree which belonged to the neighbours, we thought we were going to have a piece full break not a weeks course on sweeping pine needles up from the patio and the drive way, we walked wet pine needles into the property and our car. Sitting on the patio is like sitting in a terraced house back yard . We left a day early has it was that depressing. It seems the owners are watching every move we made

Our third stay. The Coach House is of a consistent standard each time. The setting is very peaceful and the historic village has a friendly atmosphere. Its a great place from which the to visit local beaches, NT houses and gardens, cathedrals and churches. Whatever your interest there up is something of interest for you within 10 to 15 miles. And a restful, calm base to return to.

Really well appointed place, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners had left us a note to explain about a problem with the TV and when we experienced a further issue they replaced the TV immediately. Left with plenty of privacy to enjoy it and the provision of a hot tub added to our stay. The welcome pack was provided with plenty of thought and the added touches of providing dog bowls and towels was really appreciated. We would definitely stay there again, we like our home comforts so that speaks volumes from us!

What an amazing, relaxing break my wife and I had at the Coach House. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The lovely hamper of local produce was a pleasant surprise and the accommodation was absolutely spot on. Clean, spacious and homely. What a lovely, clean and very well equipped cottage! Everything we could wish for was thought of and we were pleasantly surprised by the hamper full of delicious surprises. The little village of Witchampton is so nice and peaceful and there's a lot to see in a short driving distance. We didn't use the hot tub, but we are sure that is very pleasant too.

The Coach House is a lovely, stylish holiday property. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The Hot tub is lovely and the bed was very comfy. Sarah and Andrew were very flexible as our hosts and made sure our needs were met. This is one of the best self catering accommodations we have stayed in. The village is calm and peaceful and the Coach House has character with an emphasis on the modern and everything you might need for a week away. Plus the hot tub is a treat and bonus. The provisions left for us were all local and there is a nod towards trying to be more eco in the household goods used. We liked it a lot and when back down this way agin to visit relatives will make this our first port of call.

Delightful stay in a clean, smart and well organised space.

We had a lovely relaxing time at The Coach House! The area is very quiet and peaceful which was exactly what we needed. The suggested walks were excellent. We did the Badbury Rings trail and it was good exercise plus a good walk to clear busy minds. We did also go to the Witchampton & Crichel Club for Fish & Chips on Wednesday night and the portions were indeed huge. The kitchen was nicely stocked with the bare necessities sugar, tea bags, instant coffee, salt, pepper, cooking oil all the crockery & cutlery and a cafetiere! If food supplies are required, it's best to go the Waitrose in Wimborne which is about 5 miles away. But all these recommendations are in a very well prepared handbook. Above all, the welcome hamper & fresh hen eggs were thoughtful and lovely touch. We had an amazing stay!

We have had a lovely week staying in the Coach House Witchampton. The accommodation was clean and the facilities excellent. The Hot Tub was really good. There were treats on arrival which was an added bonus. The house is situated well to get around East Dorset there are many well signposted footpaths. We would definitely recommend this holiday house.

The Coach House was amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. All the comforts plus more and the hot tub was such a bonus after a day out. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and appreciated. After a day out at Monkey World or the Tank Museum, it felt like coming home each day. Apologies to Sarah & Andrew though, we forgot to wipe out the fridge after emptying, both of us thought the other had done it, oops!!

The Coach House was a lovely place to spend the week. It is well designed and spotlessly clean. Any issues we had were because I have a disability and the property is not set up for the disabled. However I managed to cope and would love to return in spite of this. The owners were very friendly and provided a delightful welcome hamper including fresh new laid eggs.A brilliant holiday property.
