Please book with caution! !! Owners are not very understandable, photographs need updating, we had real difficulties with an intensive smell, the place was absolutely poorly maintained. Would not recommend this place at all. Just to let you know, you are overlooked in the garden.
The garden was very secure for the dog. As the dog wasnt allowed upstairs a stairs gate would have been helpful but the dog bowls were appreciated .Its in a great very quiet location 200yds to the cliff path and short walk to the lighthouse , parking was great and overall great value for money .

Lovely house with a great enclosed garden for the dogs. House had everything we needed for the week and was clean. Nice location, walking distance of Portland Bill and two nice pubs.
Cliffwalk was lovely from start to finish, accommodation is great and very comfortable. Lots to explore in the area, as a family with our dog we had great days out and coming back to have some chill time in the hot tub was lovely. The hosts communication from the start was excellent. We will be looking to stay here again.

Had lovely weekend stay at cottage . The hot tub was lovely in the evening after a long walk. Well equipped cottage and clean.
Whilst we had a very nice holiday in an area of the UK not visited in over 60 years, there were some property issues. It was nice to have a whole house to ourselves usually it's a caravan or a lodge or a chalet. The main issue was the overbath shower which could not be operated at all. This resulted in having far too many quick baths as we did use the hottub every day. The bathroom floor tiling is very bad with open joints and broken corners plus massive amounts of silicone sealer around the bath and shower screen. The microwave is either broken or so impossible to set it is very difficult to use no manual found. The toaster is much too small and even for a standard slice of bread has to be cooked in two goes. While the hottub was fully working, it is badly age stained consider a professional waterproof high gloss interior repaint we did enjoy it's use every day. The wooden decking floor is in very poor condition and ishas rotted away in quite a few places. It was impossible to get 'Netflix' on the main lounge tv despite having a good internet connection. Hoping you take these comments as constructive. Unfortunately, as in the famous comment from the channel 4 series Four in a Bed would you stay here again I am sorry to say it has to be a NO
It needed dusting and the decking needs looking at. The cover of the hot tub fell on my wife when she was in it, so that also needs sorting. It is in a good location and was comfortable.

This is an ideal place to stay in easy reach of beaches, things to do, the accommodation is adequate has all the things you need, the double bed was quite compy although my hubby being quite tall couldn't stretch his legs due to the bed frame at bottom of the bed he managed though, we enjoyed our stay

A little tired deco wise but nothing a lick of paint wont cure, garden is great we had 2 mini daschunds and the previous comment ref gap under the gate is easily fixed by placing a plant pot there! !! Great location easy as pie for the SW coast path and good road links for further travel. WiFi a bit slow but not sure if thats something to do with the location. Kitchen good bathroom good would happily stay there again
It was a lovely stay. Beautiful garden comfy pillows and double bed. Definitely better than our one at home we both fell fast asleep within minutes on the bed. Shower was lovely and moderately easy to change from different settings and the bath setting. The nobs did get stuck but got it sorted. A great shower glass to keep splashes to a minimum and fantastic water pressure. Downstairs toilet was very spacious and helped with four people.Hot tub was fabulous and there was even charcoal and all the tools for BBQ. Only difficulty was drying all the towels and clothes. A stand aside tumble dryer in the shed or airing cupboard upstairs would make this amazing. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and sauses and herbs almost absolutely everything. Just missed my normal tupaware to put left overs away in the fridge for later. Couldn't find the food recycling but absolutely fantastic stay and we would definitely book this again every time we come down to Dorset. Thank you for a lovely stay and trusting us with your house and belongings.
The house was extremely well presented with a high standard of cleanliness. Bedrooms were well proportioned and comfortable with plenty of storage space and wardrobe facilities. Ideally located for walks around Portland, particularly cliff walks to Portland Bill. The addition of the hot tub, which we used even though it was October was very much appreciated, We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

Hot tub should be emptied and throughly disinfected between guests and it is evident that is not the case. Comfortable cottage with convenient car parking space and good sized garden to accommodate our dog, though the very low fence between the neighbouring property meant it lacked privacy. Kitchen small so difficult to prepare meals with lack of counter space but has everything needed. Sofas very small and would not comfortably accommodate 4 adults. Double bed was very comfortable. Location great for walks along the coast path.
My friend and I and my dog spent a lovely week here in the middle of may. There was everything we needed and we met some very friendly local people. The hot tub was great after a day of walking. Only downside for my friend was she found the single bed mattress rather too soft. Would happily recommend this property

We adored our stay at Cliffwalk. It felt like a home from home. Facilities are great, it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed as a family of four. There was so much additional things already there such as washing up liquid and hand soap it was really great to have everything on hand. Good communication with the host and no trouble accessing the property or any of the facilities. Garden and hot tub are lovely additions. I am looking forward to returning.
We found the kitchen satisfactory, the light in the bathroom for shaving didn't work, there was a leak in the bathroom basin sink waist pipe, there was no rubber seal on the shower glass so water dripped on the floor, the central heating needs a overhaul only one radiator was working properly and when the boiler started up in the morning it made really loud noise which woke us up. The hot tube was very good.
Honestly had such a lovely time from start to finish. Everything needed for us to do clearly outlined which made the stay extra relaxing knowing we didn't have to worry. Will definitely be booking again because it was perfect. Cosy. Near everything we could need, nice walks and food around. 1010 recomend
We had amazing stay here! ! When we arrived there was a beautiful Christmas tree up, along with a card, box of chocs and bottle of wine!!! couldn't have been made to feel more welcome!!! Lovely property, and beautiful place!!! We will be back!!
All very clean and in a good location for walking.
The house had everything we needed for a peaceful break away. It was like a home from home. There are areas which needed a little attention with cleaning, skirting boards and door frames need wiping down but it didnt affect our stay. Washing machine was a god send and meant I had no holiday washing to do when we got home. The back garden is a little a sun trap and the hot tub was lovely to jump into after a hot day exploring. Welcome folder had everything in it that we needed. Parking space was used all week, in fact, we only used the front door once and that was when we arrived. Area is very quiet, despite being in a residential area. Short walk to coastal path from house. Lots of walks on Portland and lots to see. Lots to do and see in Dorset. You definitely need transport when staying here.
Lovely location and Cliff Walk had everything we needed. Would have been nice to have a visitors book to fill out.

Very well equipped cottage, could of done with a cupboard to store food and a screen for privacy in the hot tub. Some of the door handles were lose but overall we had a lovely holiday . Would recommend
