Perfectly positioned for exploring Dorset's best bits - sandy beaches, rolling countryside and quaint villages are all within easy reach. Spotlessly clean accommodation with thoughtful touches like bathrobes and welcome hampers make this accommodation special.

The cottage sleeps 6 comfortably with two stylish bedrooms - one king-size with freestanding bath and walk-in shower en-suite, plus a twin room with its own en-suite shower. An amazing place to holiday! Cottage had everything you could ever need and was spotlessly clean. The cottage is in the perfect location with lots to do only a short drive away yet once you go down the drive to the cottage it feels so secluded and quiet. We loved our evenings in the hot tub watching all the bats! The owner was friendly and helpful and we appreciated all of her suggestions of places to visit. Having spent many years holidaying abroad, after being a bit disenchanted with overpriced and overrated British holiday lets, I decided to give Dorset one more try. To my surprise, I came across this lovely, peaceful property with its genuine, friendly owners. I was actually in the process of booking something else for a last minute getaway and was drawn instead to this modern property, largely based on the very positive feedback of other reviewers. They were certainly not wrong and we are so glad that we chose Stag Cottage instead of the original option from another agent. I rarely go back to the same place twice, but this is one of those exceptions. The property is exceptionally clean, the dense, woodland outlook is great and the hot tub is the place to be after dark. In particular, the size and specification of the two separate ensuites is really exceptional for a property of this size and a real bonus after a busy day in the sun. On a practical note, you will need a car for this property as most of the main attractions and beaches are about a 20 minute drive away. But on the plus side you do get peace and tranquility after hours and the local village puts mine to shame in terms of the range of good quality services and facilities on offer, including two proper pubs, which serve good food. As you can guess I intend to find a way back soon to this lovely corner of Dorset.

Lovely cottage with all the amenities a twobedroom cottage would need. Situated down a country lane it was quiet and peaceful punctuated with bird and deer sounds. Icing on the cake was the hot tub which was used frequently to sooth our aching muscles from the many walks we did in the fabulous county of Dorset. Deb and her husband made sure all our needs were met by frequently checking on our comfort and needs.

We had an amazing stay despite the weather at stag cottage. It is a brilliant base to explore the beautiful Dorset countryside and coast. Quiet and secluded, it feels like being right out in the country, but you are close to amenities. A hot tub is always a bonus, and really importantly is not overlooked. The cottage is very well equipped throughout, warm and comfortable. It has clearly been well thought out, and finished to a high standard. It was a really nice touch to be greeted by Debbie on our arrival, and to know she is on hand if needed throughout the stay. Generally we really enjoyed our stay, and the biggest compliment I can give is that I would happily return and stay here again.
An amazing property! From the moment we opened the door and entered Stage Cottage we knew that we were in for a treat. The cottage was beautifully clean and has been finished to a very high standard with every amenity that we could have wished for, including a lovely welcome hamper. The owners, Debbie and Kevin, were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Sitting in the hot tub, watching the birds and squirrels, was a treat, as we soaked away any aches from the long walks! We spent two weeks there and discovered so many different places to visit. Some of our family were so impressed by what we told them that they have encouraged us to book The Barn a larger property on the site for us all next year!

This place is fantastic. I stayed two weeks. Its close to beaches, towns, countryside and woods. The kitchen is fully stocked . It even had a butter dish and champagne bucket. Everything was nice quality. And the hot tub was also fab. Bathroom toiletries provided were beautiful with a super big bath.

In excellent location far enough away from built uo areas to give silent nights and excellent star gazing yet still very close to many popular Dorset attractions and also not far from the beautiful New Forest.
