The Barn is a stunning single-storey holiday lodge in Lytchett Matravers, right on the edge of Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This high-spec property sleeps 10 guests across 4 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. Perfect for multi-generational family holidays with its spacious open-plan living area and enclosed garden.

Located just half a mile from local shops and a 5-minute walk to the pub, you're perfectly positioned to explore Dorset's finest spots. Poole and Bournemouth are just a short drive away, while the magnificent Jurassic Coast with Durdle Door lies within easy reach. After a day exploring, nothing beats sinking into your private hot tub with a favourite drink. Who needs the spa when you've got bubbles at home?

The accommodation features four beautifully appointed bedrooms: a king-size with walk-in shower en-suite, another king with freestanding bath en-suite, a twin room with en-suite and a family room with double and bunk beds plus en-suite. The kitchen comes fully equipped with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine fridge (essential!), washer/dryer, dishwasher and coffee machine.

This is the second time that we have stayed in a property belonging to Debbie and Kevin we rented Stage Cottage in September 2024 and, as on the first occasion, we were delighted with the accommodation. The Barn is equipped to a very high standard and is immaculate. You could not ask for more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future. A wonderful stay, home away from home. Fully equipped, modern and cosy setting. Welcomed on arrival by Debbie, a wonderful host who ensured we had everything we needed and comfortable over our stay. Spacious living area, hot tub set up on arrival which we jumped into straight away! Gorgeous garden where we spent most of our time with the kids enjoying the space and games available. Perfect location to visit the key landmarks and locations. Will be recommending the Barn to our friends and family for sure! Property exceeded our expectations, making it a wonderful treat.

Wow what an amazing property. We had a brilliant stay. The owners had thought of everything we loved the rituals products, robes, hot tub, garden space, decor and large open plan lounge space for socialising. The kitchen has everything we needed and everything was so clean and tidy. We would love to come back and would 100 recommend. The booking process was also super easy as was check in and communication from the owners. Thanks very much.

Great stay. The house is faultless and had everything you needed and more. The hosts gave a great welcome and Easter goodies to help us settle in. The hot tub is amazing and the garden a lovely sun trap even in a wet Easter week. The location is greater with loads to do within 30min drive. Highly recommend the fish and chip van in the village rec carpark on a Thursday!
The Barn is a beautiful property which is luxurious, comfortable and practical. We were two couples staying there but its spacious enough for 4 couplessingles or a couple of large families. Debbie, one of the hosts was attentive and helpful so we felt looked after. The area is lovely with fields, forests and towns with nice pubs St Peters Finger was our favourite and restaurants The Taj in Corfe Mullen did a fab Indian and cafes The Barn and The Cow Shed were both nearby and do lovely food. The hot tub was a highlight too!

We had a lovely 4 days at The Barn catching up with family. The property itself was very clean, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and on hand if needed. Although The Barn looked lovely in the pictures it did not disappoint in reality. We loved its peaceful setting whilst still being close to Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. We chose The Barn partly because of the fact that every room had an ensuite which is unusual in rental properties and because it was all on one level once inside which suited the less mobile in our group. The hot tube was an added bonus. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend staying there.
