This is a lovely place to stay. The house was spotlessly clean and was bright and airey. There was a lovely welcome tray and the owners are helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The llamas are a just gorgeous and young children will love them. We also made good use of the hot tub which was checked by the owners each day. Dorset is a lovely part of the country with much to see and do.
We had a lovely stay at Swallows Nest in a beautiful setting. The accommodation was spot on, down to the comfy beds and hot tub which was well maintained during our stay. We had a lovely time at the Swallows Nest! Everything was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was used a lot and it is also in a great location to reach beautiful places like Durdle Door. The barn was fantastic and very clean. The location was idyllic and the hosts Nici & Steve were lovely and friendly. We really enjoyed the fact that our kids could run free and be at one with nature. The hot tub was an added bonus, and we really enjoyed relaxing and looking at the stars at night time. The barn is ideally located with Sturminster Newton just a short drive away. There are numerous other villages and towns within easy reach too. One other bonus to mention is that Steve is also a hot air balloon pilot and often has spare spaces. My wife Poppy was extremely fortunate to take a flight and had the most amazing once in a life time experience! We will definitely be back to Swallows Nest in the near future. We enjoyed a 2 night stay here in November, a beautiful modern accommodation, had everything we needed on hand, shame it was too cold to enjoy the hot tub maybe next time!
