The Nest is a bespoke handmade oak shepherd's hut in Powerstock, a peaceful farming village in Dorset, just four miles from Bridport. It sleeps two and comes with a private electric hot tub set in a timber screened enclosure for privacy. The hut overlooks a pretty valley with countryside views all around and sits near its sister hut The Warren.
Powerstock is surrounded by footpaths and bridleways. Two village pubs are a short walk away. The Three Horseshoes serves local food and beer from a south-westerly terrace overlooking the valley. West Bay and the Jurassic Coast are under 10 minutes by car.
The open-plan interior fits a king-size bed with TV, a two-seater sofa facing French doors and a dining table with valley views.
Eggardon Hill Iron Age fort is 1.5 miles away. Bridport market town is 4 miles (8 minutes). West Bay harbour is 5 miles. Lyme Regis is roughly 14 miles (25 minutes).

To reach The Nest by car, head towards Powerstock village in Dorset, approximately four miles north-east of Bridport via the B3163. The hut is set on a working farm and parking for two cars is available on site.
The nearest railway station is Maiden Newton, approximately seven miles away, with a taxi or pre-arranged transfer needed for the final leg. Bridport is also well served by bus routes from Dorchester and Weymouth if you prefer to travel without a car.
