Anchor House Reviews

Lucinda
We had a fantastic stay at Anchor house with various branches of our family getting together to celebrate a big birthday! The kitchen was well stocked enabling us to cater for a large celebratory meal without running out of crockery and cutlery and there was ample space for everyone. Would book again.
Jacqueline
A lovely home. We had our annual reunion here. An older group of ladies. We loved the house and the hot tub. Very easy to walk into the town. It would be perfect for large family groups. We were very happy with our stay
Lovely house with plenty of rooms bathrooms and excellent hot tub. Good, well equipped kitchen. A ten minute pleasant walk to the beach. The only thing I would say is that the lounge is a little tired, new throws and cushions would revive it.
Overall we had a nice week here. The Beach was in walking distance. The parking for three was tight but we managed. The facilities in the house was good . Managed to lose the kids to sometimes to the play room where there was football and I was told by my grandson the latest X Box. The kitchen was adequate where we were able to cook main meals but could have done with an over flow fridge for drinks and extra food. Garden was good where we could chill and use the Hot Tub. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of Towels and separate Hot Tub towels. We had one issue with an unstable Toilet but that was rectified fairly quickly. Would recommend this property.
Good size house and has great facilities, good location. Everyone had a great time. We would stay there again. Only a couple of really small niggles. Top floor shower didnt work which was a known problem but not communicated until after we had discovered the issue ourselves. Was resolved quickly though. BBQ didnt have starter coalmatches as stated it would.
Amazing property. Well maintained and decorated. Loved the hot tub. Good location. Not far from the harbour and beach with no hills to walk back to the property. Having 3 parking spaces on the front of the house was definately a bonus.
Samantha
Perfect, great location, very well equipped, comfy beds, and added bonus of the hot tub. Have already recommended to family.
Property was lovely, clean and modern. Facilities were excellent. The bath shower screen seemed to leak, so we had to put a few towels down. It's a shame that there are some dodgy looking folk nearby, we're sure one of party saw a crack deal going on in the street. Very good position and parking. Good location for take aways, shopping and beach Only feedback is it would've been good to have a firmer more supportive pillow and if some of the beds were bigger. Not all of the party shared this view, most were happy. We're used to super king beds at home.
All great, took a little while to work out how to turn the central heating on but we got there
