Lots of parking and plenty of space for the kids to play - the hot tub in particular was a hit. Compared to other holidays we’ve been on, there was more equipment already in the cottage (e.g. electric fans in each room, and a baby gate for the stairs, which we’ve previously had to bring with us). The location is great - Beaminster has lovely shops and pubs, and it’s easy to get to the coast or other towns/landmarks. We would certainly consider staying in the same house again if we were coming back to Dorset. Only negative was the internet, which was shaky - fine for phones, but the TVs need it to work so we couldn’t stream anything for the kids or grandparents in the living room for most of the week.

We have a family holiday every year and this was one of the nicest cottage we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious, well decorated and equipped. The beds are all extremely comfortable. Thoughtfully fans had been put in the rooms but they stayed cool anyway because of the structure of the building. Our ages are from 26 to 87 and it was great for all of us. Any small problem the owner dealt with immediately.
