Melbury Hut is a handcrafted shepherd's hut set on the Tranquility Retreats site near Shaftesbury in Dorset. It sleeps two and sits beside a fishing lake surrounded by quiet meadows full of wildlife. A private outdoor jacuzzi bath with water jets overlooks the lake perfect for an evening under the stars. The owners have put real thought into every detail here.
You can walk to Gold Hill in Shaftesbury in around 30 minutes. The site has walking and cycling paths leading directly into town. A vineyard and café is just three minutes away.
Inside, Melbury Hut has an open-plan kitchen and living room with a king-size bed and a smart TV above it. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, bathrobes, towels and a heated towel rail. Underfloor heating and a log burner keep things cosy year-round.
