Dairy Cottages Pig Cottage is a detached contemporary barn conversion completed in 2019 in the hamlet of Wigbeth near Horton, just outside Wimborne Minster in Dorset. The full-height vaulted ceiling and picture windows flood the open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with light and the wood burner makes it genuinely cosy. It sleeps two and sits within easy reach of both Dorset and Hampshire.
The setting is quietly tucked back from the road with stunning countryside views on all sides. Cranborne Chase and the New Forest are both within easy reach for walking.
Inside there is one king-size bedroom with a free-standing bath and a separate walk-in shower. A door leads to an en-suite WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. The enclosed garden has a private spa tub with massage jets plus a patio, charcoal BBQ and artificial lawn.
Badbury Rings (4 miles / 10 mins), Moors Valley Country Park (5 miles / 12 mins), Wimborne Minster (5 miles / 12 mins) and Cranborne Chase (8 miles / 18 mins) are all close by.
Up to two dogs are welcome making Dairy Cottages Pig Cottage ideal for couples wanting a proper countryside escape with walking on the doorstep. Electric vehicle charging is available on site. Book it for the hot tub alone everything else is a bonus.

The nearest railway station is Bournemouth, approximately 12 miles away. From there a taxi or hire car is the most practical way to reach the property as local bus services to Wigbeth are limited.
